Hello for the first time. I have been a Ableton Live user for 2 years now and am still in love. At this point I am fairly confident in my knowledge of the program, but there still are some stumbling blocks. My first problem is that when I use my roommates Roland td-3 drum kit as midi input I get approximately 31ms of delay between the time I hit the pad and hear something. Check my math (at 120 bpm, .5seconds per beat, 1/16 offset, .5/16= 0.03125 seconds). Anyway, if I arm an empty MIDI track and hit the pad I see activity in the mixer section at the same time as I hit the pad. Does this mean it is an audio buffer issue? I have tried adjusting the the MIDI Clock Sync Delay to no avail.(what settings should I have for the drumset) Also I have tried adjusting the input and output buffer settings but this didn't work either. Could someone please walk me through the process of troubleshooting/fixing this problem? I am having the same issue with the Korg NanoPad.
Your help is greatly appreciated!!!
