Edirol PCR 300 Drum pads w/ drum rack

How do i get the pads on my edirol midi usb controller to trigger the samples in Impulse or drumrack?

if someone can just tell me the steps i would really appreciate it

there is a control map for Impulse under Ableton

although this thread is quite old, after fiddling for ages and searching the forum, i got a sort of solution for the drumrack and the pads, if anyone is interested:

in the software editor of the pcr-300, assign the pads to output notes and choose the note that corresponds to the sampleslot in the drumrack.
transmit the controls to the pcr.

only outputs fixed velocity though.
