I think I played grooves in to the plastic on my Mushroom Jazz cd. One of the best pieces of music I have ever owned on compact disc.

Yeah word to that. I actually only hopped on board when vol 4 came out, and I must have clocked up at least a hundred or more straight through listens on that mix by now.

I think I only had the first one. It came with some kind of CDROM that allowed you to rejuggle the beats or something. I got it in 99. I didn't even own a computer at the time. - seems weird now that I think about it.

About the MJ1 bonus CD, that's nuts! That sounds pretty forward thinking. I hear that CDs released today are sometimes pre-cut into multitracks so that they can be remixed, I guess crate-digging for instrumentals and acapellas has really changed these days huh.
