How do I monitor using my audio 8 with Ableton?
How do I monitor using my audio 8 with Ableton?
Signal is coming out of the 'cue out' in ableton but my card doesn't recieve any headphone signal. I basically just want to monitor my master output with headphones (for when my family's asleep)
Re: How do I monitor using my audio 8 with Ableton?
i have an audio 8, but not here.
If you plugin your headphones in audio 8
you can switch a button to "headphone" on the audio 8 (there are a few buttons on it.
go to "ctrl," or "apple," (=preferences)
Go to audio
Go to audio setup and then to output configuration.
I think you should select output 7/8 (and press the button next to the headphones to select the headphones output).
on the right side of the master volume in ableton there are some virtual knobs. press the one with the 1 0 on it, the one most on the top.
Here you can select the master output on output 7 and 8.
Now it must work.

How do you get the audio router to 7/8 on que?
I have output 1/2 stereo and 7/8 stereo enabled.
I have 1/2 as Master Out and 7/8 as Cue Out.
Yet no sound? What am I missing here?
