Live 8.0.5 change log
Re: Live 8.0.5 change log
finally a usable version.
no bugs found yet (except one remains: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=123477 )
no crashes, it can handle my 3rd party plugs etc.

Re: Live 8.0.5 change log
HUGE BUG
in 8.0.5 any change in one midi mapped value makes live report values for every mapping over every output
i use live to control external synths, so when i cue a clip in live, it ties up the midi output delaying the note from playing
this has rendered 8.0.5 unusable, luckily i have saved 8.0.4 which is working fine for me
but this is a pretty huge issue, if you would like me to post the midi monitor capture, i would be more than happy to

Re: Live 8.0.5 change log
my apologies if i'm asking this question in the wrong spot, but where can i find out about Live 8.0.5's new support of Open Lab's gear as (i'm assuming) a control surface?
I have a Gen4 Miko TIM and I am wondering if it is applicable to Gen 4 Open Lab's gear or Gen 5 only? About to start a new project and i'm trying to size up whether or not I should upgrade before I start.
thanks!

Re: Live 8.0.5 change log
I was hoping the sample browser would react faster after the update, but it didn't
.
I also experienced a crash when I tried to remove/delete a limiter on a track while playing the scene and another crash happened probably because of NI Massive in the same project. It's getting pretty annoying, never experiencied this much trouble with Live before!
btw. Im on a MacBook 2.1 running OS-X 10.5.8

Re: Live 8.0.5 change log
Toontracks Superior Drummer 2 will not load as an Audio Unit unless at 44.1
Many Waves plugins will not function at all as AU
Both work as VST's though. This is not the case in other programs so it must be an issue with Live.
It looks like there's some Audio Unit compatibility issues.

SD2 issue fixed in their 2.2 and Abes 8.05 update. You rule Abes.
