it would just be very nice to get informations, wague dates, simple "we're working on it", or "the beta is running", etc..

why? because i actually plan on certain components since half a year, that i can't integrate into live in another way, except for coding some vst plugins, which i actually don't want to. till then, i will continue to "rock out" with traktor 3, the only app that delivers what i need for djing (and use live for everything else, as it's awesome)..

a simple "we're planning for december" would give enough info to drop any hope for "maybe next week, maybe in a month".

but this silence is very annoying, and not userfriendly.

i was more referring to a certain post where you simply told everyone that live works perfectly on your computer and thus it must be our OS thats setup wrong, and you also managed to call me a computer noob which quite frankly pissed me off since i do know my way around computers including hacking them to the utmost stability.

I didn't say it was your OS. with OSes I generally say it doesn't matter. there is no correlation in the performance test thread between OSes.

I wrote that it was computers in general. there is an element to software not working that involves people being lazy or ignorant or dumb and not keeping their computers cleaned up. there's no denying that. I don't know why Live doesn't work on your computer but I wouldn't be surprised.

right after the Live 8 release, for about two weeks I ranted that the whiners should have beta tested. we've beat that horse to death, you really need to go there again?

nono, the latest release works, and it works good aswell.
just that when i "upgraded" to .4 everything went to complete hell and you just brushed it off as the people who werent having a stable .4 release simply didnt have their os tweaked properly and their computer cleaned up and configred as stable as possible, which mine was.

i think youre misunderstanding me a bit though, im not at all as annoyed as you think i am. although i must say that in general i think that your posts is a waste of time, but hey each to its own. im sure youre a nice guy really. nonetheless i think that you position yourself on a pedistal while quite frankly not everyone is as stupid and lesser as you judge them to be.

nice criticisms on my arrogance, fuck it, it's an audio forum, I take audio seriously, why be a pussy about it? many of us use the forum to blow off steam. it's a really really bad move to think one knows more than the rest of the the forum, I've written that dozens of times. I can often tell when someone's full of shit with audio, feel free to point out when I'm wrong, this stuff isn't difficult to hash out.

with the pot shots people like you take at me I don't really care to be all hugs and cuddles, it would get me nowhere. I do apologize when needed and I do admit when I'm wrong. I'm not annoyed, just in a weird mood this week, ranting away. life is good, life is really good.

It's a simple random note generator that feeds out to three components of a simple FM synth. Great for insta-bwippy-ness.

I'll be giving it out once M4L is out and after I've finished tweaking it.

EDIT: If you want to see the basis of the randomizer it's in the example patch called "scaler.maxpat" that comes with Max.

Sure it would. It's a one-trick pony though. It does what it does and it's my first Max instrument (I'm still a Max noob even after 2 1/2 years with it).
