Some explain how to use the spectrum analyzer

Post by zeitaliesin » Fri Sep 25, 2009 5:20 pm

Would someone explain in detail how to use the spectrum analyzer and where it's located?

Sorry - thought this would help - to use it drag it onto which ever channal you want to analyse - this tool is more so you can see what you audio is doing - you can change the meter to show you diffetent information which is covered in the wiki article - sorry i couldn't help further :)

did it ever occurred to you that someone might not understand a written manual?

so he has the need to get it explained in different words?

ok, i pull out, because i also don't explain it to him, but i am all against the use of spectrum analyzers for production, thou.

Forget those things.

It'll just get in your way if you don't trust your ears to begin with.

I was thinking along those lines BUT in the end Spectrum is still useful, just not as useful as it might seem. it looks so cool, it must be a great tool. it's not, but it can help.

it's hard to explain... when I use Spectrum I use it to compliment what my ears hear. when I can't quite figure out what frequency is pissing me off I pull out Spectrum. I give each of my ears a vote, Spectrum gets one vote.
