There is also a tutorial on creating a Live 4 template in the support section. WARNING: New windows drivers are necessary to run the editor, but the are currently only compatible with SP1. An SP2 update is supposedly on the way.

I have XP w/ SP2 and can run the template editor - I was able to "listen" or receive a template from the x-station and to send a Live template to it. What are you using to send /receve patches? I am trying MIDI-OX but am new to it and have not quite gotten it to do the trick.

I had no problems installing the new windows drivers on SP2.

I did have problems updating the X-station OS from their template editor, and had to send the .syx from Midi-OX.

Before, with the older drivers, I was getting glitches here and there in Live, no matter what I did - Stripped down XP visual settings, Highest application priority and highest latency in the x-station ASIO control, nadda... it was bad. :x

but these new drivers seem to have completely cured that. 8)

haven't really tried the template editor, yet. I just wanted to let anyone out there with SP2 who may be waiting for driver updates know, that they might want to go ahead and try these.
