Ableton vs Plugins Issue

Hi guys, my Ableton (8.0.4) got mad for the past days.
Everything works fine, except. . .after i'm playing the session, when i press STOP, ALL of my plugins reset to the default state, default preset, default controls. It's useless trying to work something out. I saved my presets to act as default, but still, i need a resolution. Cause i have to save my preset each time a make a change.
I tried reinstalling, trashing all preferences and cache, cleaning the registry of everything related to Ableton, nothing helped.
It's like Ableton lost it's feature to remember things.

P.S. my system is Vista SP2, and i haven't installed/uninstalled anything related to the audio. PLEASE HELP.
