I am thinking of installing snow leopard. I would like to do a fresh install. I did a time machine backup of my hard drive and I am wondering after I wipe my drive and install leopard, then I must reinstall Ableton and each plugin? That's alot... is there an easier way like saving them in a folder on an external drive and just bringing that folder back to Abletons library after I'm done with the install?
Thanks for your help!

I've been running Snow Leopard for approximately a month now with no major problems (some of my AU / VST's need updating but luckily nothing I see as essential day to day workhorses). I get far less processor spikes than I and this enables me to increase my VST / AU load a little (have a feeling the processor spikes were caused by background tasks and these seem to behave to a greater degree under SL).

I'm using the latest 10.6.2 and have a few reoccurring problems. Live lags and crashes a lot. This is with Live Suite 8.1 on the latest 17" MacBook Pro 2.8 GHZ 4GB ram. I also use Komplete 6 and notice incompatibilities. Its been bothering me enought that I upgraded my Reason 3 to Reason 4+ Record for $150 to enjoy some weeks of stability while the other vendors work it out.
