So I'm well aware of the limitation that the Ableton native instruments do not respond to program change messages, but I've heard in a couple places now that Sampler is the exception to this rule. I've hunted all through the manual, the forum, and Sampler itself and can't find anything about this - is it actually true? Can Sampler respond to program changes now? If so, what am I missing?
(It's surprising to me that Operator and the other synths don't recognize program changes - I can see that loading a sample can be time-intensive, but Operator isn't really any more complex than an early 80's FM synth; surely its presets can't require more than a couple K of memory, if that.)

Re: Program Changes in Sampler
Well, I take it from the resounding silence that no one knows what I'm talking about.
Here's one of the references I mean:

...but it occurs to me that people must have just gotten program changes and MIDI CC messages mixed up. Sampler is the only Abelton instrument that responds to MIDI CC, right?
