Ableton live WAV images disappearing after saving

Here is the bug, when i try to save a session or save as, it will redo an overview of all the tracks, and many times already it just doesn t show the waveforms anymore, I still can play the music on these specific track, I can cut and copy them but i cannot see the waveform, it s just blank

If i freeze and flatten the track it comes back but i cannot use what wasn t frozen anymore...

Hope I am clear...I does that on both my pc and mac computers...


Any ideas someone?

Hello,

I haven´t heard of this - which Live version do you use?
Are these files old files with old .asd´s or files never used in Live?
Are the files on the internal drive(s)?

I have had this same problem for a long time. I just start a new project, record something, save as and then the sound images disappear. The files are stored to the internal harddrive.

I'm using macbook late 2007, osx 10.6.8 and live suite 8.2.5.

I can get sound images back by consolidating.
