8.0.4 on WinXP SP3 and I've only crashed 1 time so far... Most likely caused by 1 of 3 utility plug-ins I use.

I'm guessing biggest update will be having the launchpad supported, maybe os10.6/windows7 official support too. maybe a few bugs fixed. Probably still no m4l

It always happening while duplicating tracks or tweaking directly on the plugin GUI ..
Yes, duplicating a return track with FabFilter Delay nearly _always_ crashes Live when a song is playing while duplicating.

8.0.3 on Vista, never crashes. A little more CPU hungry than 7 on XP, but I don't play live with it anymore, anyways.

had to go back to 8.0.4 because of midi issues with 8.0.5

but it seems to me that 8.0.5 was a big step backward in basic functionality

I don't understand. How is 8.0.5 a step backwards? What did they take away?

I don't get it. I was having issues with .0.3 and .0.4

8.0.5 has been working fine for me.

live 8.0.5 win xp sp2 quadcore processor (cant remember the model name)

loads of crashes here...mostly using native instruments stuff (especially guitar rig 3)
thinking of goin back to live 7 as soon as i finish all the projects started with 8
and the funny thing is that is way more stable on my old acer laptop than on my new quadcore..thats just weird

it really seems like if you were having problems with 0.4, 0.5 is the solution

but if 0.4 was stable 0.5 is a train wreck
