Hello! I'm using a novation Xio with Ableton 7.0.16. I'm able to get the Xio's onboard synth sounds into Ableton by specifying Line In (3-Xio) DX or Line In (3-Xio) Wave. However, there's enough latency to cause problems. There's a proprietary driver for Novation called Asio, and I've been advised to use that. I'm able to load the plugin in Ableton, and I can see Ableton's levels respond to the Xio just fine. However, there's no audio. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the sound on my laptop? I'm on a Lenovo 3000 G530 using Windows Vista Home Edition.
Anybody else have a similar experience or advice? Thanks!
