Using a Master Computer to Slave Live and ReWire Reason

Post by TheCompactDisco » Sun Oct 04, 2009 6:27 am

So, i've got two laptops, one running ableton, and one running reason, and i want to slave the reason on one laptop to the other so when my DJ partner does effects and stuff, it transfers to reason and works as a whole.

We've got 2 control surfaces, and we want to have those connected to live on one laptop, and a Midi keyboard or two on the other with reason, and we want to slave it up. would i need to run ableton on both? and slave them and rewire on my laptop?

please help.

Is running Reason on the same computer as Live out of the question?
