SATURED SOUND GOING INTO LOUDSPEAKERS

today i have played with 6 loudspeakers and the sound was coming out saturated.
couldnt correct it.
the basses were too loud. i had to put at almost zero the bass frequencies knob.
my soundcard is an edirol fa66. it is supposed to be good. or not?
does someone else ever had this issue. someone has some link on how to get a better sound out of a pc playing mp3s?

Hello,

Boxes are only a part of the chain for a good sound out of your PC.
Other parts are: ASIO drivers, external audio interface with good D/A converters, solid cables...
and of course a good sounding source audio material.
