No audio output device available when Asio driver selected

Hey, Guys!

Having a problem here - when I go to my preferences > audio

and select the Asio driver (that came with my Novation Xio synth/keyboard), the audio ouput device option disappears and, as you'd expect, I can't hear any audio when playing the synth. I can, however hear the synth when I use the MME/Direct X driver (and the audio output device menu reappears).

Here's my system lowdown:

Ableton 7.0.16
Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2
Lenovo GS3000 Laptop
Novation XioSynth

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Spazmo,

please reinstall the latest driver from the Novation website. If that should not fix the problem, please contact [email protected] with your log.txt attached as described here:
