not bad,
the kick needs to be beefier and needs more mid tones in there .. it could be me, but it sounds like there's some compression pumping in there.
fix the mix and your track will stand out heaps.

SJ,
Thanks,
I think I may have too much compression.
I have the hardest time with compression in Ableton, Reason, wherever.
I guess I don't fully understand it and how to get it right, it pissing me off.
Thanks again,

99% of the time, I try and get stuff sounding good without compression, in the case of your track I think you should try making a mix without using any.

Will do.
I still got some time.
However, if the track sucks, no matter how you compress it, it's still shite.

yes but it doesn't.
as someone else who makes music i hear what the track can be, not what it is, and in my ears...you're only a better mix/production away from a solid track.

Yeah, very nice indeed. What woud I say beyond others' comments? Maybe have a little bit more of an intro rather than steaming right into the thing-don't mean a drawn-out house mix-in start but just a little more of something to set the scene. Also the guitars sound great and make the track work but maybe use them a little more sparingly arrangement-wise and let the beats breathe, less can be more. Love the way you force-fitted the vox to such a speedy tempo too-good luck!

Very nice man! I'm curious though, would you mind posting the gear you used to make this (other than Ableton)?

And even funnier...
I use Mac. Acidpro 5 (or whatever it is) doesn't even work on a Mac.
PC only.
Guess what's going on ebay!
I just wanted to do b/c it was the Chemi's and Q-Tip.
"Tribe" was one of the best Hip Hop groups ever!
