my new apc 40
excuseme again
I've just received my new APC40.
Installed Live for Akai 7.013
Connected the apc with the usb cable
in the midi preferences my pc sees USB speakers and not an apc40.
Nothing about auto mapping.
Is there any program or controller editor i have to load to let my pc recognize the APC40 in order to get this machine recognized?
thanks

Re: my new apc 40
at the top of the preferences in controll surface select the APC from the drop down menu then do the same for input & output
the apc should then appear, then select track & remote for input & output.
make sure the APC was connected and powered on before opening ableton.

The 7.0.16 update is free if you have a legal copy and you registered it. If not, sorry.juampi1969 wrote:so with this version nothing to do?

Equipments: Softwares, hardwares, plastics and metal controllers, computers, headphones, a pair monitor speaker, and electricity to power them up.

Did you go to the preferences/midi page and make sure the APC40 is listed as a controller?
