APC40 save "configure" order for individual plugins

Is there a way to save the order of the 8 parameters on individual plugins so that the same 8 parameters are assigned to the 8 device control knobs everytime you bring the plugin up?

I would love to store my knob assignments for each of my plugins without saving racks.

I find the easiest way to do this is to put the plugin in a rack, then the 8 macros are automatically assigned to the 8 device knobs of the apc. all you need to do is assign your parameters to the macros and voilà!
