i mean it's sort of funny, thou... that he got kicked out, because he is as much an asshole as the berghain guys are... but still i agree on what he says.

I've been to Berghain on friday and found it to be a great place.
It's strange for me to be in a club with music so loud and still everyone is quite relaxed... completely different from the shit we have in Italy, where people first go nuts and fucks their brain then MAYBE listens to the music.

And I felt the same in other clubs I've went (Tresor and Maria). Didn't like the Weekend much.

Best moment probably was when I had an expresso at Panorama Bar at 4:00 AM

I know nothing about berlin, or the euro club culture for that matter, and this threads been quite the interesting read. Theres seriously sex in clubs? Like right out in the open and shit? I guess Its expected, as germany is second only to Japan for ultra freaky sex. Hasselhoff and shiesse porn......and orange dudes with sticks doing musical theater apparently.


Theres only 3 or 4 decent EDM clubs in San Diego, On Broadways the biggest with 7 rooms and about 5k capacity, draws big names but suffers from douchebagitis, more faux hawks then you can throw a jager bomb at. I was always a desert rave/massive person anyways. all you Euro guys NEED to come out to LA/SD for one the huge festivals we got every month or so, i cant decide what to do for holloween gimme your guys thoughts....

i've just arrived in berlin after 7 years in london, i loved london initially, but the shine eventually wore off and my favorite clubs are sadly no more, i too could wax lyrical about my own halcyon days but i understand that there's always that golden period when you move to a new place, usually lasts a couple of years for me.. will let you know how i go getting into berghain this w/e!

btw - pitch black - good to see you on here, will come down on the 24th for sure, last time i saw you guys was at the gathering nye 2000...

Its that pretentiousness thing, seems all the good clubs are horribly infected. Someone said in the "Hawtin got thrown out thread" that the lines would stay the same, people wouldnt stop going there. Is this really how its going to be, this evolution towards the club being the main event and not the music? I dont go out unless its a big name i have to see, so honestly i could give a fuck about the venue and i know many in the scene here are the same way.
