vst to simpler

just like to know what is the best way to take a sound from one of my vsts and sample it into simpler

I normally do the loop/sample I want to sample as Midi, freeze it down to a waveform and then drag and drop to simpler (do this a lot to drum samples from operator or sylenth).

Couldn't find a better way to be honest!

- add empty new audio track
- "audio from" set to track with vsti
- arm track
- record clip
- drag clip into simpler/sampler
