Yes. A cool new budget midi controller - like a UC33 v2, or like the Torq thing but not software jailed.
I hope we see more NON-budget controllers personally, put the build quality back into things :)
I hope there will be more DJ-centric controllers (decks with jogs and main mixer) with more random controls which would be more forward thinking. The current market seems to focus on DJ controllers that are pretty much formatted for whatever software is out at the time with very little room to expand and soon as a new major software upgrade is released you are given all these new software options but all your hardware controls are already mapped out or don't conform too well to the new software.

The Xone mixers shouldn't be your only option.

I want a 4-channel DJ mixer with a bunch of freely assignable buttons, a 4x4 grid of mini drum pads, and a section of at least 32 knobs.

The DJ mixer format/size/shape is the way forward!

No jog wheels, and no midi faders. AND I want to hear some goddamn news about the "so far mythical" Serato/Ableton partnership!

In fact - I want to design a controller and have :Xone manufacture it for me. Is that too much to ask???

For sure (whats that by namm, bah): 3 new softsynths from fxpansion: Strobe, Amber, and Cycper.

Strobe is a single-oscillator lead and bass synth with some arp and something very cool: an LFO that gives you the ability to specify a swing value.

Amber emulates paraphonic instruments like 60s' combo organs or 70s' string machines.

Cypher has got a very flexible sound engine with many kinds of modulation capabilities.

(source: mixblog)

Althought they were announced in last years winter NAMM, in the recent issue of FutureMusic there is a Deadmau5 interview. On those pages he said that he is an FXPansion betatester and these synths would be out for sale in January, so hopefully they'll be revealed on the forthcoming NAMM.

(Sorry about my poor english, its too late to me now for thinking in english...)

I expect a replacement for the Virus TI.

I don't. Although the official price in the USA is nearly $3,000, you can buy one right now from a well-known dealer in New York for $1,999, including shipping. Moreover, another well-known dealer in Indiana has completely removed the 5-octave and desktop versions from their website, and is offering only the 3-octave version and the Snow.

To me, that spells C-L-O-S-E-O-U-T. A little more than two weeks and we'll know for sure.

I would like an official word and release of the Nord Modular G2 editor for OSX intel and Vista. Also, having them give us a sampling based expansion option for the G2 would fill my heart full of joy 8)

there is a beta, and i think the original works under Rosetta.
Both have issues.
Right now i'm using my G5, but it would be nice to be able to use a fully working, bug free version on my lap top 8)

The beta for the G2 works great, there are just a couple of annoying bugs.
One is that the right click to bring up the help menu/info dialogue for each module doesn't work, another is that the editor will lose contact with the G2 every once in a while which, at least for me, requires a shut down and reboot of the whole computer.
