Count me in! I'm just across the river in Jersey City. Closest thing to an Ableton meeting in the city has been at the Tekserve on 23rd, but it was pretty lame & ill-prepared.

I'd be down. Just got back from Vegas (I'm from the west coast, but have lived in NYC for almost 8 years). Vegas was whatever, but met some cool peeps into making music, and it made me realize that I'm missing that creative component in my life out here - music is my thing regardless, but more fun with people than always solitary. Be nice to meet some fellow heads to kick it and make beats with. I'm into all sorts of shit - house, breaks, hip-hop, and lately more quasi-pop stuff like Groove Armada (new album is interesting), Simian Mobile, Memory Tapes, Cut Copy, blah blah blah. Whatever piques my ear musically mainly, but again, be nice to meet up and share tips/tricks and kick it and such.

I am extremly new to the music scene and have ableton suitr 8 and a bunch of other stuff for music production. i want to learn the basics and also work with ppl who know what they are doing. I am into the rap/hip hop,reggae/reggaeton, and etc genres. i like all kinds of music but mostly interested in making the genres i have speciified. HOLLA BAK!!!

We will be hosting an official Ableton User Group in July (TBA), but are also looking to do more with people in the community in general. Sunday nights art wide open now and I would be happy to host at least a few times a month. We are an art gallery on the weekends, so there is always something inspirational around.
