New York City User Group?

I would like to meet Ableton Live users from the NYC area. As such, I wonder if a NYC user group already exists. If one does, great, I would like to meet up with such a group.

If not, would anyone like to join me in getting one started?

Im a brooklyn native. I love live. Im in a cafe in greenwich village mixing down some tracks. Im a pc user and i use great plugins. I would love to link up sometime and trade tricks and tips.

I sequence on mpc4000 and use mostly HW synths but track and arrange in live 8.

I am keen to link with some other nyc based live users.

I'm into dubstep, ambient, R+B, pop ( yeah i know but i dont give a F*** )

and havent had too much time to play around with it but when i have i love it as well.

I was a part of the LA live user group but I don't know what happened to them. I stopped getting emails and notifications. I'm in NY half the month so I would be interested in attending if it's happening while I'm in the city.

im terribly indecisive on where to go and meet ppl and hang out so i wouldnt even begin to know where to suggest we all meet up. then its a matter of when everyone had the time to. id really like to see this come together though. im free nights after 5 and weekends pretty much. but i'll be on vacation in FL come the 24th-29th.

Yep, live on the lower east side here. Getting into DJing with live; mostly psychedelic forms of tech house but also drum & bass, dubstep, psytrance, abstract breakbeat kinda shit and so forth. Often free.

Coffee houses are always packed in the city. I wouldn't mind getting a drink, but then again I don't know how old everyone is. :\ Probably best not to be exclusive.

Maybe somewhere more centrally located in the City so everyone can get there relatively easy...? Any thoughts?
