It takes place mostly in the daytime but it deals more with the psychological horror side of things. Plus it has this hilarious line delivered by none other than David Caruso: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz5ODQCueP8 3 second clip so it doesn't spoil anything.
+1 Great use of letting you use your own imagination and creating your own back story.

Sam Raimi is the man. Drag Me to Hell is one of the last best horror movies I've seen IMO(I guess you can say horror - He's got this weird witty comedy horror thing going on)

Wait a second...Your that dude...With the bible lessons...Watching horror?

So confused...

I saw this one last night. Thought it was entertaining. And thought their "sampling" (for lack of a better word) of older movie footage was pretty creative, taking into account this is from 1982.

On the horror movie front also check out the George C Scott classic The Changling.

Filmed back when ghost story horror movies were psychologically scary and it wasn't all about blood and guts. The filming is dated given how long ago it was released but I think that adds even more to the impact..shit that can't be pulled off today. It's a good storyline too, not just shock value.

The Descent 2 was very nice but the dual endings of the first one make the beginning of the sequel a bit confusing.

I just came back from Splice, which arguably looks like a remake of Species but this one is way cooler/creepier. I liked and I hope they don't do a sequel for it.

Nice. I had hopes for this movie, didn't say high hopes because at this point in history anybody having high hopes for anything coming out of hollywood is an idiot.
