Lets talk movies

Post by squelcht » Thu Jun 03, 2010 6:59 pm

I'm always on the lookout for a great movie to add to my list of movies I must watch - I recently got around to watching "The Diving Bell & The Butterfly" (based on a true story) & it was amazing. Look forward to reading the actual book the guy comprised to make this story.

Anywho - Lets throw some titles around :D

Since pretty much every film is going to be mentioned here, let me just say that I love them all.

The original 1989 black and white classic. Only an hour long but if you watch it you see why
like Eraserhead on Speed or something like that totally and utterly insane. Gets better when you watch it multiple times.

If you're a fan of horror, then these two are pretty good:

Session 9
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0261983/

It takes place mostly in the daytime but it deals more with the psychological horror side of things. Plus it has this hilarious line delivered by none other than David Caruso: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz5ODQCueP8 3 second clip so it doesn't spoil anything.

Jacob's Ladder
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099871/

Another psychological horror, but more fucked up than Session 9. I can't really describe it, it has to be seen.
