also check if they have the same "type", "channel" and "parameter". you can check that by pressing the "edit" button and turn the 4th knob. now to check the "type", just press the encoder, the same for "channel" and "parameter"

there's only one thing to assign to a clip, its launch button, or play button as you say.

it's gonna be something simple, try it with another device, get that working then try the BCR.

from what I understand, you want to launch a clip and be able to stop it with the same control. use Toggle clip launch, as set in clip view. try it with a mouse, then try it with another control then try it with the BCR.

Hi! I've tried now for 2 days to get a worthy clip launching working with my bcr2000. Meanwhile i'm a little bit depressed: Yes, i can start clips, but the button leds (upper row) doesn't light constantly, sometimes they stay for 1 second after pressing the button, sometimes a little longer. I don't know why. All i've done is to edit on of the original sysex files from the behringer website with the BC Manager. I've set the buttons to CC, toggle on, 1st Value to 127, 2nd to 0.

I'm sure there must be a proper solution, as i've seen on youtube. Anyone there who could me an working sysex file? Or some tips? I will be very relieved to get some help!

Thanks

When i was using the BCR, I organized my Live set into scenes. I used the two buttons on the lower-right hand corner of the BCR to trigger the next/last scene. The other two buttons were assigned to "stop clips" and ... uh... I guess the other one was not assigned.

The push encoders on the top were assigned to various effets on the master channel for the twist, and effect on/off for the push. The rest of the knobs were just random stuff here and there in the set. I guess I had the corner buttons assigned as CC momentary default off, and the knobs 0-127, depending on the parameter. The top row of buttons were speaker on/off toggle, and the bottom row was for crashes and wooshes and shit.

And I will say that BC Manager sucked a lot, at least when I was using it. Programming it manually was fiddly at first, but pretty easy with a little practice.

a new finding: ableton live is sending a midi message constantly at each bar, so it lights up after pressing the button and goes off when the track reaches the end of the first bar/begin second bar. Is there any possibilty to manage the button leds to work well, maybe just a blinking light when a track is playin?
