I think the odd think about being a music maker is that as we get more and more into our art we start listening to music to intensly and try to work out whats going on. I was doing this up until very recently. Listening to more and more complex music until i realised that i wasnt having fun.
I realise now that music is about communication and memory . All the music I really love, I actually love because it conjurs up a memory of where i was when i listened to it and the mood it created in me. For instance orbitals insides album reminds me of being on a school trip in snowdonia and looking at all the wonderfull rivers and mountains.
