atomic wrote:Thanks for saying that. I know from looking at the benchmark page that pc's are running ableton faster than macs but compairing live to other DAWs is just not a good compairison. Live is set up to be used Live go figure and i have to asume that it takes a higher overhead to have fast responses to your actions. The hole ableton is a cpu pig thing is getting tired IMOP. BUT on the other hand ableton has to get on the dual cpu shit ASAP as that is just bad use of resorces. If you are going to make a program that is CPU heavy that is fine just design it so it can be used with computers that are set up for heavy use. Thats my bag

I purposely don't upgrade my cpu. If I had a super cpu I wouldn't get a damn thing done. i would jsut tweak all day. Some of the most popular songs in the genre Im focused in are maybe 12 tracks. Better ideas less plugins!!!!

There was comparison intention in my last post.
It's just annoing not being able to use Live as I'd love.
Live has always been heavy on Macs, nothing new here.
Still remains the best DAW ever conceived...but being able to use double processors or anyway being "lighter" would make it simply incredible.
