ABLETON PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM! I'm running Live 8.2.5 on a brand new macbook pro and I'm still having the same problem! I use the pads on an MPK49 to arm tracks but it randomly doesn't work like everyone else is saying, extremely inconvenient for live performance!
