Of course it can be argued music made on a computer doesn't have the dynamic range nuances that can be discerned between 16 bit and 24 bit source, but then again why use 24 bit audio cards when there's 16 bits?
If nothing else I leave my vinyl purist friends without solid arguments. They'd be hard pressed to explain why only vinyl can sound better. The 24 bit recording will at least be a very good copy that doesn't detoriate with playing.
I'm not saying everyone must do 24bit recordings, it's just a preference of mine. Let's also not ignore that 8bit and 12bit samples sometimes sound way more nice depending on source and usage.
