Finally the voice of reason as spoken - the concept of time in and of it's self is...bafflingmike holiday wrote:does time even exist?
i think that is the root of this question...
if there is no time how can you streach it
I was sitting still and the wind flowith against my brow yet time seemed to move me in a direction that I could not fathom ~ was it fate? Not it was time, time, time and time again ~ mans creation to keep black postal workers and asain engineers down ~ mans creation to destroy the almight dinosaur who once ruled the earth invented the internet and flavored condoms ~ time has once again proven tiger woods lives a secret life as a belly dancer slash gay cop ~
time
If I was faster to this post I would have gone with either:
1. No, live cannot alter the tempo of audio or MIDI. It works like a fixed bank of 16 virtual CD players. Good luck, DJ!
or
2. Yes, Ableton Live can strech time. It can also save it in a bottle, and hopefully, if you've registered with Ableton, spend it with you.
or
3. Live's time-strecher comes in the same box the installation disc is in. To install it, open your computer case. Find and remove the chip marked "Motorola" and solder the time strecher in it's place. Be sure to use lots of solder, so it really stays in there.
