I can't reproduce this. When I un-warp, then warp and loop it again, I still hear clicks.

Strange.

I can very clearly hear it in Arrangement view in the set you provided (after clicking "Back to arrangement", since the Session clip was playing).

Then I click Warp twice in the clip (the one in the arrangement) to un-warp and re-warp it, followed by Loop again (since un-warping has canceled the loop). When I drag on the end of the clip in the arrangement to create a couple of loop repeats, the transitions are clean as a whistle, no click. I tried it several times, going back and forth with Undo/Redo, and the difference is obvious in my setup. I'm on Live 12.1.1.

Of course, the clicks shouldn't be there in the first place, since – I can confirm – the loop is indeed seamless.

I think when support says "it's a problem with the audio clip", they meant the Audio Clip abstraction inside Live that refers to a source audio file, not the source audio file.

Because when I disable Warp, then re-enable Warp and Loop and loop the Clip again to 16 bars in Arrangement, then save the Set again, seems the problem is gone (I'm using the Beta version, maybe RobrechtV is too, Gavin clearly is not in his videos).

I mean the problem may be related with some bugged Audio Clip parameter that gets saved in the Set, so if Gavin keeps testing and saving test Sets with 12.1.1 then he (and others that load a Set saved with 12.1.1) will keep seeing the problem.

That may be why it is connected with Session View, maybe the Audio Clip gets some bugged parameter only in in Session View that affects playback in Arrangement later (I suspect it may also be related to disabled Create Fades in the Prefs).

OP should also make his tests in Beta not just 12.1.1.

No missing step, that's exactly what I did. The only difference is I'm on Windows and my Live version on my laptop is only 12.1.1 (so not on the beta either)... But I definitely hear the click that shouldn't be before the unwarp-warp operation, so the bug does occur on my system too, it just goes away after re-warping and re-looping. Too bad it doesn't work for you...

Ableton support have reproduced the bug. Here's what they said:

After an internal investigation, we were able to reproduce the issue you reported under certain conditions.

We’ve now been able to confirm that the clicking behavior in Arrangement View does not occur universally, but specifically when a clip is dragged from Session View into the Arrangement. In these cases, looped playback in Arrangement can produce an audible click at the loop boundary—whereas clips dragged directly from the browser into the Arrangement do not exhibit the same issue under the same warp and fade settings.

We’ve logged this as a bug in our system, and you’ll be notified as soon as we have an update or resolution to share.

The issue is fixed in the current Live 12.4 beta (12.4b7). This is the item of the release notes that pertains to the issue:

Clips copied or recorded into the Arrangement from seamlessly looping, unfaded Session clips now continue to loop seamlessly. The Fade button for Arrangement clips is always visible and determines whether loop jumps are faded.

The fix for this issue is now generally available in Live 12.4. From the release notes:

Fixed an issue where clips copied or recorded from seamlessly looping unfaded Session clips would not seamlessly loop.
