Wanted to note also (at positive side) that Live become install very quick for now. That i particularly observed just now with install 12.3.1 (not remember if this was started from 12.3 tho ?). But really, before, i remember install update occurred pretty long, you could watch third of a movie and drink some tea lol.
Now it's about couple minutes. And you can see realtime what installs (before were not, just was hanged screen that inform that something installs).
Now installs like any other usual standard program. Ableton had big change installer engine it seems? It's a bit unusual feeling though, but good.

Hello!

With 12.3.1. in as of last night I'm noticing some "unexpected result" situations, but haven't had the time to document them rigorously.

In (very) brief:

- Hot-Swap is confused again. After successfully resolving Hot Swaps erratic "device type" recognition behavior in 12.2.5, the confusion has returned. An example: I select Hot Swap on an echo, and the Live browser opens the Dynamics category.

- Reverb is acting very strangely: Like, not working at all -- I loaded several different reverbs (all Ableton, of course) and heard no discernible reverb effect no matter how far I pushed the dry / wet balance. An exception was noted on one or two reverbs where a full 100% wet setting resulted in no output being heard from the track at all.

I could test these more robustly but I'm busy with some projects that I need to make actual progress on, so I'm just rolling back to 12.2.5 for now. ...Which is costing me a ton of work on one project, about which I am not at all happy. But -- my bad, I should've been more suspicious of opening it in the new version before undertaking a more scrupulous investigation. Now the project is "stuck in the future" and can't be opened in 12.2.5.... so yeah, a bit of steam to let off with that one.

The new generators by Iftah were fun when I tried them... but I'm sure Ableton will right the ship in due course, and I'll get those back.
