from a rechnical standpoint, the i/o and power cable ports are in extremely awkward
and bad positions...close the lid and it'll chop into the cables. or slam down on the cables, and dammage the rca posts. also: rca posts. i guess it works with a standard mixer that way, but it's still cheezy. 1/4" would be better. they could've made a rear or side port for the plugs/cables that closes airtight/watertight.
neat idea, just a bit off the mark. some nice analog controls would also be dope.

I thought that john '00' fleming was the player of the most horrible "trance" music ever created, not hardhouse. perhaps he plays terrible "shite" in many genres. But if he says it's really cool then it must be true and not that someone just gave him 20 bucks or a blow job to say so.

All you need is a pair of 1210:s and a mixer... not some kind cyber "I don´t know how to dj but i can sync the tunes automaticly in my dj-soft" computer.

It's 2300 pounds!!! That's outrageous!!!
honestly, if you want a solid laptop, check out a panasonic toughbook.

This model in particular;

Anyways, you'll get a much better machine in terms or durability, equivalent in terms of performance, for about the same price.

It IS big. A lot of the space is needed for the E and glowsticks that are ejected into the crowd from the front...

Unless of course you want to do all the stuff that you can do with Live that you can't do with turntables like looping and playing at extreme tempos...

I had a look at the specs, two hard drives on rubber mounts, touch screen, illuminated keyboard, metal case, special cooling.
Looks like a way more reliable job than a standard laptop. Of course it's more expensive than a normal one!
Why is everyone being so negative?
