Yup, the freebob program is coming along in leaps and bounds remedying one of the underlying problems with linux audio - hardware supportbragi0 wrote:Live 6 under Wine is apparently possible. There's wine patches to support ASIO now too. FreeBoB is coming along nicely to provide firewire audio.
It is a bit of a pain to get running. I certainly wouldn't be gigging with it... I'd just have too many concerns about stability of it in that environment until I'd had a few months of solid testing.
