I'm not in front of Lie right now but is there a way to set the same follow actions for a set of selected clips all at once, currently?
that picture made me thing of making little session sequences for each grouped scene. very hardware sequencer like.

Yeah, all of the follow actions and fancy stuff like that make Live a perfect horizontal sequencer, but the groups! gotta have the groups. I'm sick of my manual grouping. I just start the name of each scene in a "group" with the same character/symbol. Just to identify them so I make sure I move them all together and what not. Please abes! Groups for Live8!

I think grouping is well, no way. But is your aspect not for a live-player or a dj! You have a look on the locators and imporve this ones. Locators shoud handled like in dj-software e.g. traktor, etc. but with many, different traces, ... but man, in arrangement view??

I was thinking about this idea the other night, so +1
I was thinking about it as an extension of the arrangement function "create scene from selection" , which is currently so feeble as to be broken. That function is only any use if the arrangement has very simple single clips being sent off to Session, with a more complex arrangement section it will just overload Session with a confusion of clips which do not follow each other.
Using this 'scene group' it might work - extending the existing "create scene group from selection" to set all the various follow actions so that the scene group plays as an arrangement section.
