nice pic Adonis, love the invisible gold fish and ya gotsta keep the hair right when producing, the comb is a completely underrated piece of production gear. forget the compressors, the tube pre amps, the wamalisers, the big knobs, get yerself a COMB!

the wife has the room with the big TV and suround sound and all that, I get a room for my studio gear. I'll post pics once the new monitors show up.

OP - sometimes time away from the studio makes music time more productive, it's all about BALANCE. besides, there's nothing like hittin the kitten to get in a good mood to make some beats.

...and you have to keep the pics up of her around the studio - that works

something about the house the sound pretty much stays where it is so for being 900 square feet in the city it's pretty damn insulated.

ok, now I'm going to mix some records

throw a baked potato in the oven on 450 for 1 hour
season a steak

that way @ 11:31 I can eat lunch

^^ that's math

that's power ;)

funny. she passes out around 10pm when it's too late for me to get loud and then it's my room. it works out well. sometimes I think she treats the studio like a baby sitter "I'm tired, long day, go to your room."

the 3am shit is GREAT when you're single and on the scene, quality drunken time with the ladies.
the 9pm shit is GREAT when you're in a relationship 'cause you still get the 3am time with the guys.

By 9 PM women are about 2 hours past getting everything done with thier day. Lack of personal individual intersts lends itself to sleepy time. Most women I know sleep more than cats.

9 PM is when a guy's day is just beginning and everything before that was a stream of obligations and BS they didn't want to do in the first place.

LOL - I think you nailed it - for most of them at least :)

Mines one of the 3am types - up for clubbing at any opportunity, never watches telly, loves messing messing around with the synths and DJ toys - teaching her to play keys and to beat match etc as well as being general studio monkey :)

Seems to think of me friggin around on the synths half the night as a free gig... only complains when it aint loud enough, or kick+bass aint rattling everything in the house :D
Nothing to see here - move along!
