I believe with Max for Live.
the real question is, does the live API will be accessible without max for live?

I believe with Max for Live.
I exactly want to know about that.hoffman2k wrote:Alright. So Max for Live allows us to use the APC as various things.
How easily can you switch between modes?
For example, I have the APC in Default mode and I have a step sequencer running in Live. How long does it take to switch between device modes?
If I'm not mistaken, it was said that the messages in the APC are hardwired. So how does Live ignore anything coming out of the APC and how do you make the step sequencer listen?
would be great, or with a bigger matrix like 16(+1 for scene launch)x8 + buttons for solo ,mute and stop button.kristoffer1989 wrote:PLEASE build a simple and cheap midicontroller with a 6x8(or something) button matrix grid and 4(or more) banks.
I really don't need(or can bring with me) a big Apc40. I just want a matrix grid to lounch clips. Please make one!
Why not go with the iTouch midi? Turns your ipod touch into a wireless (!) grid midi controller.kristoffer1989 wrote:yeah most of us are covred with faders and encoders already. Myself i have a Faderfox Lv-2 and it suits me perfectly. It automaps so i don't need a lot of knobs. It has me covred with everything. When i need drumpads i have my nanopad. When i need keys a have my nanokey or my oxygen. Depends on how mutch i want to carry with me. The only thing missing is a really nice and portable matrix grid for clip triggering. I am borrowing a monome 128 from my laptopmusic teacher now and it is so perfect. But waaaaay to expensive. Plus he waited 2 years to get one.
PLEASE make a portable resonable prised matrix grix for clip triggering!
