I don't know if "generic" is the right term. In that sense, what isn't generic with respect to Stoner Rock? It's all pretty much garage versions of Sabbath.

I can't really explain my aversion away from The Knife. Just seems cold, weak and lifeless.

You wanna hear some GREAT production, listen to Goldfrapp Supernature. Now that shits smooth, deep and ultimately, it has the number one thing that the knife doesn't. It GROOVES. It's gotta groove man.
