Worth a crack in L4 too I reckon as I had started getting similar probs in 4.

Try it. It can do no harm
Move the preferences.cfg file (just the file, not the whole folder) elsewhere and see if it helps. If the problem gets worse just put it back. What kind of probs you having?

hey it was just the CFG??!!i becouse I trash it all preference Folder !!

According to a post by ableton's Alex, trashing the whole folder will result in Ableton reverting to the settings you tried to delete (don't know how but I'm pretty sure that's what he said). Just delete that one file.

I did!! Ill ready trash it the Whole Preference folder!!

so, if I understand (my english is very poor) Live 5 created another Preference Folder??!!

I dont have any problems,but if i can make live runs beter with less cpu use,why not.Remember i still use Live 4,one more time sould i delete the preferecens or not?One more time i still use Live4 and i am not going to upgrade to Live 5.

yea go ahead and cut-paste it somewhere else. then open live. nothing bad will happen. either something good wil happen, or nothing at all.
