we have free health care in denmark if i want to see a doctor tomorrow i can see one. we have some of the best hospitals in the world, all for free!djadonis206 wrote:If Cubans value free health care then they are wealthy - wealth does not equal money, however, money makes it easier to acquire things you valuedjadonis206 wrote:Wealth defined is what we value, not money income. a 90 year old great grand parent with little to no money but a very large health family is wealthy
so when you say ,I believe you, but you're thinking of wealth differently than I do.There is more to the world than wealth.
Free everything believe it or not has a cost. dead weight costs like standing in line, waiting three weeks to see a doctor, a shortage of doctors, etc etc
think about a lot of things in America that we consider to be free ... do we really value those things as much as the things we actually pay for?
Image if Heath Care were free in America. how do you think that would play out?
for me it wouldn't matter if it was free or not i have no trouble paying (or letting my parents pay for that sake) for private hospitals. Even if i didn't have a health insurance i wouldn't be in trouble. But not i'm not at all because i don't need a health insurance here!
I'm thinking of all the people without one. Aren't there cases in USA where some (what do i know, trailerpark people) can't get on a hospital even if they're deadly sick?
I don't want anyone to suffer, no matter if they have a job or not.
