i dont really care either, i use and support both platforms.

it is gonna be real interesting to see if developers keep releasing xp compatible software for the next say 3 years. I think they will, the size of the install base is going to be too large to ignore.

Think your right. Even if Vista is better the reputation it has is SO bad that people do not want to switch. I do think though that the vast majorty of people will be using vista pretty soon reguardless. They may not be pro auduio people but the other 99% of the world will move. It looks better and from first hand use I can say that things like Vista Media center are very nice features. I use them every day in my livingroom. I can do networking with my remote I still will not put it on my studio computer though. Give that another couple of years.
