It would have been more offensive if he said this:

nuxnamon wrote:... did you just do two and it spread on the dance floor? ...

Also, alas no I am not EvilEvilEvil. Although we seem to have a bit of the same sense of humor, or lack of.

if it's not a compressor you shouldn't be using it.

levels below -3dB aren't worth mastering.

Anything with an RMS below -3db isn't worth mastering either, send them back to remix that sucker so it doesn't sound like soft girly boy music!

You guys think your Masters are ready for release, the truth is....you're all just a bunch of Master-Betas!

Run your mixes through ALL T-Racks presets (minimum) consecutively before you report back and claim you have a true mastered piece. (don't forget to keep it above -3db}

Alternatively, you may use a circuit bent synth....be creative with this, just randomly reroute wires inside any Jupiter 8 or Yamaha DX-1.

well this is good news. Meanwhile, the synthesizer that is best for mastering is this one:

because it is *automatic*.

^ the good HP stuff, before they broke that division off into Agilent and started making everything out of plastic.

Old HP stuff is great, has that warmness you just can't get these days. Love those big number keys too for punching in numbers.
