What turned out to be an illegal copy of Ableton Live 8 off E-bay - cost me $200. I was finally able to afford a legal copy in December, and I'm happy to be legit.

let's see...
#1: Numark NS7 - wanted to eventually use it with NI Traktor, native support still isn't there... Doubt it will ever come...
#2: NI Komplete 5 - Thought it was such a great deal, until I realized that I don't use softsynths as much as I'd like...
#3: NI The Finger - got $30 off the price, but still haven't used it... wanted to get neck deep with it in Reaktor, never happened..
#4: APC40 - used it a few times, until I started to feel limited by the version of Live it came with (all in my head actually)... keep thinking that I need to update to Live 8 Suite and M4L to be really happy... not fond of spending close to $900 on more software though....
#5: Roland Handsonic HPD-10 - Bought late last December, used mayyyyyyybe 4 times. now collecting dust...
#6: 2 new black MPC 2000 replacement pads from mpcstuff.com for an old mpc2k and my mpd32 (which I also don't seem to use...)
hopefully I'll end up selling more stuff in 2010 instead of buying it!

apc 40.
too big, the master fader broke off right away (never got abused or even gigged when that happened).
i thought it could be a solution...
maybe it was a good thing, as i'm so fed up with controllers now
that i've made a 180 back to the bass as the main focus...
live is still an integral part of my setup, of course.
back out comes the fcb1010 foot controller and the keyboard controller...
