The Andrew Duke--Consumer vs. User remix competition thread has been moved to Link Your Music and stickied so it doesn't get "lost" here in the General section; for those looking for a direct link:
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39542
Just posted there are complete contest rules and a complete list of the 16 prizes in the contest.
Thanks.

I asked Alex and Jesse to sticky this thread because it is a contest ongoing till August 31 and I don't want to see it get lost amid the USA scores a goal at the world cup and my air conditioning is broke et al threads.
Jesse has stickied and it is now here:

Hi Andrew
is atlantic standard time what new york is on? so as I type it's 20:49 in NY , does that mean the deadline's 27 hours from now?
I've done one but only on headphones so I need to check it through the speakers in the light of day

Glad to hear you're diggin' the samples, Forge.
New York time (EST) is one hour off Halifax
time (AST--Atlantic Standard Time), so
the noon Atlantic Standard Time deadline means you
would need to send it by 11am EST ie New York Time.
As I type this, it is 10:45pm AST, so you would need
to send your submission to Stratagem Musik within
the next 13 hours and 15 minutes.

Hi, Forge.
Great to hear you made it in time (5 minutes before deadline as I type this).
I don't know if Stratagem is doing confirmations; it is possible not
because they're getting a ton of entries.
I'm sure it's all good.
Looking forward to listening.

If you didn't have a chance to buy the Chain Reaction samplepack @ $9.50, the price is now $14.50 (instead of $29.50). Not sure how long it will stay at this price.
Andrew Duke--Chain Reaction remix contest is now "live" on
http://www.andrew-duke.com/contests.html
Deadline for entering is September 30, so don't sleep if interested.
Even if you don't enter, there's 30 free samples you can download
and use as you wish from my Chain Reaction samplepack
http://audiobase.com/product/SACR
If you do enter, you have a chance to be released on Germany's FOEM
(
http://foem.info) and win a copy of Steinberg's Cubase SE3 plus
other great prizes from Audiobase (
http://audiobase.com)
Again, deadline for entering is September 30.
Take care.
Andrew
