what about chris clark?
i've never seen him in person (cos i dont live in or around england), but i seen videos. they look pretty pumped with the live drummer and all. that is to say, from what i read you think no puter=success. what abo8ut puter+"real" instruments (esp. drums for the beatz~),

i think the way to the future is to interface physical objects/instrument with the computer. cos lets face it, the computer comes up with sounds that can be jus mindblowing...just takes more work than loading up your favorite vst, thankfully.....

i've got this video i got with perry cooks book, real sound synthesis, with a guy playing an bowed speaker array, basically just a controller for a bunch of sound morphing programs. textures and harmonies which are really just mindblowing. i think computers and well programmed applications can introduce our minds to worlds which traditional instruments just can't reach. thats why computers (and well programmed software) is essential for musical evolution, imo. but, it requires research, thought, and dedication. something little joey 9-5 and his kvr best 100 cant reach. which i guess is what produce alot of todays populoar electronic music.

i don't know if any of you realize this but no electronic music has made a major break through.
