no..i dont think so...there are many instrument teachers out there...many many... but i never came along such a loud advertisment for the service...hybridjosto wrote:hey 3phase YEH MAN! who gave anyone the right to teach you how to read and write one word after the other and how fucking dare they accept money for doing this.
by the way, if someone is a teacher by profession, they need money to pay the bills as well as you or I.
seriously... its only the uncreative people who will cut and paste verbatim and constrain themselves to inside 'the box'. Teaching like Cosms is giving people the foundations and building blocks to write their own music.
I can see the point your trying to make but I think your missing the point generally on this issue.
and regarding electronic music its something different again... its really a bit strange that thanks to strange style teachings people that never have been inside a techno related club in theire life know more rules how to do it than people that spend half a lifetime in the scene...
sorry..that is counter productive and dont brings the art of the music forward...
its the same with all the preset sounds in ableton life..one cant erease..or have to erase on any update ...
It is nice that the magic music maker generation can quickly do some genaric techno style msuic..
but for me thats an evil ..
but ok.. the world never would have seen major sucessfull bands like scooter without preset sounds..
its a style of living.. ..and therefore there are no new electronic musical trends since years ,t but a big renesiance of handmade music..
and an overflown market with copycat music that kills all good little lables and dont allows the young talents to ever become professional..at least for a while...
that is sad
thanks to all preset creators...
thanks to easyton live
thanks to tom cosm and alike..
just learn theire preset way to do it.. its quick..its painless..
and in 99% of the cases fruitless..
Quick customer satisfaction
