Speaking of Vampire movies I recommend "Thirst", its from the director Park Chan-Wook (Old Boy).

Only remake I ever liked was The Thing. John Carpenters version is amazing.

That said, at least the little girl Chloe Moret, they're getting for the remake is a pretty amazingly talented actress for her age.
Out of curiosity even the name is retarded down... Let Me In... wow? who wants to bet they give it the "Twilight" patent pending Hollywood treatment.

Also just last week watched two of my favorite movies on cable again:

Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer- Only movie to give this subject a Italian neorealismt movement vibe, which to me made the impact of the subject matter that much heavier.

The Unforgiven- Just an awesome piece of work. So many great lines, and for a western, deep and thoughtful.
